An engineer, founder and operator. Choosing the unconventional path.

I'm a U.S. citizen of Indian heritage. I trained as an engineer in India, did my master's at UCLA, and built my early career in Silicon Valley at Amazon Lab126. Then I moved to Zürich, a choice that surprised a lot of people. I've made that kind of choice several times in my career: following what feels right and meaningful over what is expected.

I've worked across big tech, Swiss industries, startups and my own companies, and the thread through all of it is a need to do work that matters to me. Today I lead AI strategy and delivery as Co-founder, CPTO & Board Member at thirty3 and co-initiate AI Hub Switzerland.

Still an engineer at heart: I lead and advise, and I'm in the architecture, the prototypes and the code reviews every week. Across my roles, I've operated as a product leader as well as a technologist: clarifying customer and business needs, deciding what to build, prioritising roadmaps and owning products through launch and iteration.

I care a lot about how AI is used. I see how much promise it has, and I also see how worried people are about what it means for jobs, for education, for women and children, and for the environment. I want to be part of the people who help it go well: using it to create positive impact in a responsible, sustainable way, so it doesn't leave negative consequences for society or the planet.
