Fifteen years building, leading and advising on AI.

Built recommendation logic for Alexa at Amazon Lab126, routing voice queries to relevant help content at global scale. Took cloud and big data into Switzerland's largest banks: UBS, Credit Suisse and Julius Baer. Founded and exited Anamii, personally building the recommendation-led wellness platform alongside a tiny team and growing it to 3,000+ users during COVID. Today, Co-founder, CPTO & Partner at thirty3, shaping AI products and leading delivery for clients from venture-backed startups and scale-ups to unicorns, SMEs and global corporates. The work starts with customer and business needs, then moves through product direction, prioritisation and a first useful release before the build.

Three companies founded. 100+ people led across engineering, design and AI teams in Switzerland, India, Poland and the US, from Amazon and Anamii to Vicara and thirty3. 55+ AI products shipped across 10+ industries. A U.S. citizen of Indian heritage based in Zürich, with a UCLA MSc in data science and machine learning, and a multicultural lens on how AI teams actually get built. From Alexa-scale customer-serving systems at Amazon Lab126 to Swiss-bank cloud transformations, fifteen years designing, reviewing and rebuilding production platforms that have to work under real load.

Product, engineering & AI leadership

I turn customer and business needs into product direction, prioritised roadmaps and measurable outcomes, then align product, design and engineering through launch and scale. I also lead multiple teams and engineering managers, own hiring and the technical bar, and stay hands-on in architecture, prototypes and code reviews.

Independent assessments for M&A, fundraising and foundation grants, plus product and roadmap review alongside standalone system architecture and platform reviews of complex production systems: recommendations and modernisation plans for where they'll break at scale, what to refactor and what to rebuild. AI Opportunity Sprints that frame the customer problem, validate the value and prioritise the first useful release, followed by end-to-end production builds via thirty3. I stay in the product decisions, architecture and code as we launch, measure and improve. When the existing platform cannot carry what comes next, we also take on full modern rebuilds of complex, scalable production systems.

I help clients frame the customer and business problem, shape the value proposition, prioritise the roadmap and guide cross-functional teams through launch and iteration. With the thirty3 team we've shipped 55+ AI solutions in production across 10+ industries, for clients ranging from venture-backed startups and scale-ups to unicorns, SMEs and global corporates, including regulatory copilots, demand forecasting, knowledge agents, virtual try-on, customer intelligence and beyond. Work is built on Google Cloud and Azure under enterprise data-governance and zero-data-retention standards. The portfolio spans recommendation and ranking systems, customer-service resolution, enterprise digital twins and evidence-based hiring products. Alongside AI product delivery, we also take on system architecture reviews and modern rebuilds of complex, scalable production platforms.

Where the world is headed.

The shifts I'm watching, and what they mean for leaders deciding how AI changes what they build, sell and operate.

P/01

Sell the work, not the tool.

AI is shifting value from selling software to delivering completed outcomes. The durable layer is workflow ownership, delivery design and outcome-based pricing, not model access. The product is the outcome.

P/02

Domain depth is the new moat.

As model and token costs collapse, thin wrappers die. What survives is deep integration into a real workflow: the operational logic, the data plane, the messy edges only operators understand.

P/03

AI changes backends, not just interfaces.

Enterprises are moving from human-speed systems to agent-speed workloads. Existing APIs, orchestration and infra weren't built for recursive, high-concurrency AI activity. Treating AI as a UI layer underestimates the rebuild required underneath.

Expertise itself becomes a product.

AI doesn't just automate tasks; it lets expertise be packaged, scaled and sold like software. The winning operating models redesign the human-plus-machine split deliberately, not as an afterthought.
